Electrolytic Rust Removal

I have a shed full of rusty stuff to knock the rust off of, and no time to do it.

There’s tutorials on electrolytic rust removal all over the internet, so I’ll spare the details and just show off my design.

The barrel is about 25 litres, so I can fit bigger things like saws and planes in it easily. The rebar can be easily replaced, and the plastic fencing around the perimiter keeps the rebar in place so no accidental contact is made.

Velcro’d to the side is a timer (so I don’t lose it) and instructions (So I don’t forget not to put stainless steel in there and gas myself).
